The assignment was to use soft, romantic, dimmable lighting, yet see the details of the art work and Chinese screen.
The challenge was to accomplish this without going through or compromising the ceiling any way,
The Result is a series of un-lacquered brass picture lights over the Chinese screen, and a 035-4-216 lantern, in polished nickel, hanging over the dining table.  We removed the curved glass and installed custom, shirred toile panels.
